Our mission is simple.
Lingowares is inspired by the importance and impact of words. Our products are simple and stylish in their design and message–intended to celebrate, empower and propel.
We believe that by putting positive words out, you get positive words back, and there should be style in everything you do no matter how small.
Struck by the notion that just one word or phrase can make you happy, proud or feel like a badass, we created Lingo. Our work is influenced by the resiliency, mindsets and energy of many people we have been lucky to know.
Since we began in 2016, we have been fortunate to partner with other businesses dedicated to quality, aesthetics and local manufacturing. Lingo’s homewares line is a collaboration with Eric and Christopher a small business based in Bucks County, Pennsylvania–started in 2011 by artists Eric Fausnacht and Christopher Kline– who design, screen print and sew their products in Perkasie, Pa.
As of May 2018, every aspect of our business is based in and around Philadelphia–from conception, to printing, to manufacturing to warehousing. In the fall of 2018, we launched the pilot of our Write12 mindfulness writing program in schools in the Philadelphia area and are proud that proceeds from the sale of our products support that cause.
Be strong, be hopeful, be mindful, be bold.
Courtney & Kate are sisters living in Philadelphia.
